<\/span>The<\/span> Arab African International Bank (AAIB) appointed Tamer Waheed as its new <\/span>managing director<\/span>, succeeding Sherif Elwy (<\/span>LinkedIn<\/a><\/span>), <\/span>Al Borsa<\/a><\/span> reports. Waheed served as a board member and before that as head of the risk sector at the bank. Elwy steps down after serving as the bank\u2019s managing director for more than <\/span>four-and-a-half year<\/span>s.<\/span><\/p>\n

Waheed on the board:<\/span> Waheed has also been appointed to AAIB\u2019s board as a non-executive <\/span>director representing the Central Bank of Egypt, the central bank said in <\/span>a statement<\/a><\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
