Egypt drew around USD 107 bn of FDI in 2022, which went towards 148 projects \u2014 more than double the number of projects that received foreign investment in 2021. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><span style=\"font-weight:700\">Thank green hydrogen: <\/span><span style=\"\">The increase in FDI projects was \u201cfuelled by several mega projects <\/span><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">being announced in renewable hydrogen,\u201d the report said, pointing at the 19 green hydrogen mega projects, most of which are expected to be established in the SCZone.
