The EBRD will sign off <\/span><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">on the investment on 29 November.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><span style=\"font-weight:700\">About the fund: <\/span><span>The USD 300 mn fund will deploy funds in mid-cap companies mostly in Egypt, Morocco, and Tunisia, with the aim of achieving long-term capital growth. The fund has reportedly been in the works <\/span><span style=\"text-decoration-skip-ink:none;-webkit-text-decoration-skip:none;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.privateequityinternational.com\/ex-abraaj-team-to-seek-300m-for-latest-north-africa-fund-exclusive\/\" style=\"\">since June 2020<\/a><\/span><span>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><span style=\"font-weight:700\">RMBV has a big focus on Egypt:<\/span><span> The firm\u2019s portfolio includes Cleopatra Hospitals Group, MaxAB, and Taaleem, according to its <\/span><span style=\"text-decoration-skip-ink:none;-webkit-text-decoration-skip:none;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rmbv.net\/portfolio\" style=\"\">website<\/a><\/span><span>. IDH, CIRA Education, and Spinneys Egypt are among the companies it has exited.
