The new company, which has yet to be given an official name, \u201cwill be a USD 21+ bn live sports and entertainment powerhouse with a collective fanbase of more than a bn people,\u201d WWE Executive Chairman Vincent McMahon \u2014 who will retain his title \u2014 said in the statement. Endeavor will hold a controlling 51% stake in the new joint company once the agreement closes, with WWE shareholders taking the remaining balance. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><span style=\"font-weight:700\">This is kind of a big thing in the world of wrestling:<\/span><span style=\"\"> \u201cWWE is considered a fruitful investment<\/span><span> due to its broad range of appeal and large loyal fanbase, especially regarding social media interactions,\u201d <\/span><span style=\"text-decoration-skip-ink:none;-webkit-text-decoration-skip:none;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dw.com\/en\/owner-of-ufc-buys-wwe-to-create-sports-entertainment-giant\/a-65217587\" style=\"\">DW<\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-weight:400;\"> notes.
