It issues carbon credits for a range of emission-reduction projects, and has been approved by international organizations including UN International Civil Aviation Organization and the International Carbon Reduction and Offset Alliance.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><span style=\"font-weight:700\">REFRESHER- The EGX is <\/span><span style=\"-webkit-text-decoration-skip:none;font-weight:700;text-decoration-skip-ink:none\"><a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.press\/stories\/2022\/11\/20\/africas-first-voluntary-carbon-market-will-launch-in-mid-2023-88131\/\" style=\"\">set to launch<\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-weight:700\"> Africa\u2019s <\/span><span style=\"font-weight:700\">first voluntary carbon market in mid-2023<\/span><span>and is partnering with the Agricultural Bank of Egypt and Enara Group\u2019s Libra Capital to establish Libra Carbon, an Egyptian company that will develop, manage, and issue carbon certificates.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><span style=\"font-weight:700\">#2- Azimut to launch app: <\/span><span style=\"\">Asset manager <\/span><span style=\"text-decoration-skip-ink:none;-webkit-text-decoration-skip:none;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/azimut.eg\/\" style=\"\">Azimut<\/a><\/span><span style=\"\">plans to roll out a mobile app for its <\/span><span>investment funds after the Eid El Fitr holiday, financial advisory head <\/span><span>Ahmed Morshed<\/span><span>told <\/span><span style=\"text-decoration-skip-ink:none;-webkit-text-decoration-skip:none;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/40q61cj\" style=\"\">Al Mal<\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">. Azimut has already launched three funds this year including <\/span><span>AZ valU<\/span><span>, which it <\/span><span style=\"text-decoration-skip-ink:none;-webkit-text-decoration-skip:none;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/egypt\/en\/news\/story\/7f3a63b3-8bfa-4790-b06a-147a5c98fcdc\" style=\"\">created<\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-weight:400;\"> in partnership with our friends at EFG Hermes Holdings\u2019 fintech platform valU. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><span style=\"font-weight:700;\">EDUCATION-  <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><span style=\"font-weight:700\">USAID to fund five applied tech schools: <\/span><span style=\"\">The Education Ministry and USAID inked <\/span><span>five MoUs to establish five international applied technology schools under the USAID-funded <\/span><span style=\"text-decoration-skip-ink:none;-webkit-text-decoration-skip:none;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.usaid.gov\/egypt\/economic-growth-and-trade\" style=\"\">Workforce Egypt project<\/a><\/span><span>, according to <\/span><span style=\"text-decoration-skip-ink:none;-webkit-text-decoration-skip:none;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/EgyptianCabinet\/posts\/657231373113953\" style=\"\">a statement<\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">.
