Omani infrastructure fund raises USD 1 bn: <\/span>Rakiza \u2014 an infrastructure fund <\/span>based out of Oman and backed by the Saudi sovereign wealth fund \u2014 raised more than USD 1 bn for its first close, it said in <\/span>a statement (pdf)<\/a><\/span> yesterday. The fund has already invested 25% of its capital in three projects in Oman and is close to completing several others. Rakiza last year received USD 300 mn from Saudi Arabia\u2019s Public Investment Fund (PIF) and <\/span>USD 50 mn<\/a><\/span> from the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank. <\/span><\/p>\n
