Holding to strategic investors:<\/span> The Sovereign Fund of Egypt (SFE) plans to offer a 10-20% stake in Misr Ins. Holding (MIH) to strategic investors, a source close to the transaction told Enterprise. The information was first reported by <span style=\"text-decoration-skip-ink:none;-webkit-text-decoration-skip:none;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.alborsaanews.com\/2023\/03\/15\/1644500\" style=\"\">Al Borsa<\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">, which cited anonymous sources.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><span style=\"font-weight:700\">ICYMI- <\/span><span style=\"\">The government <\/span><span style=\"text-decoration-skip-ink:none;-webkit-text-decoration-skip:none;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.press\/stories\/2023\/03\/15\/ci-capital-reportedly-marketing-at-least-10-of-safi-wataniya-to-strategics-100037\/\" style=\"\">earlier this week<\/a><\/span><span style=\"\"> transferred the company to t<\/span><span>he SFE, rais<\/span><span>ing the possibility that it could look to offer more of the company to investors than the two subsidiaries \u2014 Misr Ins. and Misr Life Ins. \u2014 that had already been <\/span><span style=\"text-decoration-skip-ink:none;-webkit-text-decoration-skip:none;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.press\/stories\/2023\/02\/09\/rebooted-privatization-program-to-see-stakes-in-32-companies-sold-to-strategics-public-investors-96067\/\" style=\"\">earmarked for privatization<\/a><\/span><span>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><span style=\"font-weight:700\">The SFE plans to <\/span><span style=\"font-weight:700\">add <\/span><span style=\"font-weight:700\">MIH to its pre-IPO fund<\/span><span style=\"\">, Al Borsa quotes unname<\/span><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">d sources it says have knowledge of the matter as saying. The fund is preparing a number of state-owned enterprises for sales to strategic investors ahead of potential listings on the EGX.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><span style=\"font-weight:700\">Misr Life Insurance still headed for an IPO: <\/span><span style=\"\">Misr Life Ins. is set to list 25% of its share<\/span><span>s on the EGX during 2H 2023, Al Borsa\u2019s sources said, adding that the parent company\u2019s planned stake sale is unlikely to affect long-standing plans of the EGX <\/span><span>listing.
