Due diligence is still underway to determine the transaction\u2019s value, which will be announced upon its completion, she added. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><span style=\"font-weight:700\">They could go the share swap route:<\/span><span> Egytrans in October <\/span><span style=\"text-decoration-skip-ink:none;-webkit-text-decoration-skip:none;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/ir.egytrans.com\/User\/assets\/img\/Media\/Egytrand%20board%20studies%20acquisition%20deal%20with%20Nosco%20Oct5%20PRL%20_EN_WI%20(002).pdf\" style=\"\">said (pdf)<\/a><\/span><span> i<\/span><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">ts board had agreed to pursue the NOSCO acquisition and that the two firms were considering executing the transaction through a share swap. Under the arrangement, NOSCO shareholders would receive new shares in Egytrans via a capital increase. The final method of the transaction will depend on the results of an independent fair value study. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1.15;orphans:2;widows:2;text-align:left\"><span style=\"font-weight:700\">About the two firms: <\/span><span>EGX-listed Egytrans offers air, sea, and land transport services as well as customs clearance and storage. The company\u2019s <\/span><span style=\"text-decoration-skip-ink:none;-webkit-text-decoration-skip:none;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.press\/stories\/2023\/02\/28\/what-the-markets-are-doing-on-28-february-2023-98231\/\" style=\"\">net income<\/a><\/span><span> jumped more than 150% y-o-y to EGP 46 mn in 2022, on revenues of EGP 400 mn. <\/span><span>NOSCO is a private trucking firm<\/span><span style=\"font-weight:400;\"> with more than 130 trucks as well as a specialized fleet for heavy and oversized cargo.
