The amendments have been sent to the House of Representatives for discussion, our source told us.<\/p>\n<p><strong>THE BIG STORY ABROAD<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>It\u2019s a toss-up between the ongoing FTX saga and the monetary policy guessing game:<\/strong> Picking up where we left off this morning, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ft.com\/content\/b62a2e86-ee61-4c4e-8ce3-418ae216d8a7\">Financial Times<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/ftx-fraud-suits-offer-blueprint-for-pursuing-offshore-crypto-exchanges-11670990401?mod=hp_lead_pos1\">Wall Street Journal<\/a>\u2019s front pages are still focused primarily on the charges brought against FTX\u2019s former CEO, Sam Bankman-Fried. Others in the international business press \u2014 including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2022-12-14\/fed-decision-day-guide-officials-to-downshift-rate-hikes-aim-for-higher-peak?srnd=premium-middle-east\">Bloomberg<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2022\/12\/14\/european-central-bank-set-for-50-basis-point-rate-hike.html\">CNBC<\/a> \u2014 are more concerned this afternoon with monetary policy decisions expected to come out of the US Federal Reserve and the European Central Bank.
