Saudi had made the one-year deposit in <a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/egypt\/en\/news\/story\/ce28f2c9-69b3-4c78-b2ab-1eb5d194e101\">March of this year<\/a> to help shore up Egypt\u2019s finances and contain the fallout from Russia\u2019s war in Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p><strong>THE BIG STORY ABROAD<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Another day, another afternoon of the international business press being squarely<\/strong><strong> focused on protests in China.<\/strong> Authorities in China are now \u201cseeking out\u201d people who participated in protests against the country\u2019s covid-zero policy, while trying to stamp out criticism of the policy by placing the blame on local governments for failing to contain covid-19 breakouts.
