<\/a> Alex Medical gets a post-acquisition board shake-up: <\/strong>Alexandria Medical Services has welcomed new faces to its board after shareholders in September sold more<\/a>than 70% of the company<\/a> to a consortium of LimeVest and Tawasol Holding, the company said in an EGX disclosure (pdf)<\/a> yesterday.<\/p>\n

Heading up the board: <\/strong>LimeVest Managing Partner Sharif El Akhdar (LinkedIn<\/a>) will serve as non-executive chairman. Tawasol\u2019s Anas Amin was appointed non-executive vice chairman, and Alaa Abdelmeguid Messaoud, also a representative of Tawasol, was appointed managing director.<\/p>\n

Also on the board:<\/strong> Representing LimeVest on the board are Tarek Shawki (LinkedIn<\/a>), Ahmed Abou-Hendia (LinkedIn<\/a>), Dalia Elshal (LinkedIn<\/a>), and Hesham Mekawi (LinkedIn<\/a>), leaving LimeVest one spot on the board still to fill. Mohamed Abdel Mohsen is a representative for Tawasol, and Ayman Kandeel (LinkedIn<\/a>) and Khaled Hegazy (LinkedIn<\/a>) will act as independent board members.<\/p>\n
