This came in the lender\u2019s latest World Economic Outlook which forecast the global economy to contract by 3% this year \u2014 the worst global recession since the Great Depression.<\/li>\n<li><strong>March\u2019s PMI reading wasn\u2019t overly reassuring:<\/strong> Non-oil private sector activity <a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/egypt\/en\/news\/story\/4568332b-f586-4c60-be86-0837d4d149b0\">shrunk to three-year lows<\/a> in March, with the PMI gauge falling to 44.2 from 47.1 in February.<\/li>\n<li><strong>No need to worry just yet, say credit rating agencies:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/egypt\/en\/news\/story\/74474d14-3c21-4192-8954-351e498ab09d\">Moody\u2019s<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/egypt\/en\/news\/story\/ad09d503-ab98-4933-a71d-ef71b7ab2ce8\">S&P Global<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/egypt\/en\/news\/story\/ad09d503-ab98-4933-a71d-ef71b7ab2ce8\">Ratings<\/a> both maintained Egypt\u2019s B credit rating.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Income tax filing deadline pushed:<\/strong> The <a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/egypt\/en\/news\/story\/27ec0299-b9cb-4e38-b0ac-85fe8a128122\">presidency has ordered<\/a> that the income tax filing deadline be extended for two months to 30 June to help businesses weather the corona storm.
