The owners of the Eilat-Ashkelon pipeline, a 60-year-old pipeline built to lessen Israel\u2019s dependence on the Suez Canal, recently suggested<\/a> that the UAE-Israel normalization pact means that it could now be used to connect oil and gas reserves in the Gulf to Israel\u2019s Mediterranean shores.
