There are several factors and variables that can affect the test kits\u2019 efficiency in delivering accurate results, such as how the swab is inserted into your nose or throat and how long the samples take to arrive at the lab, says Singaporean biomedical research lab Biopolis CEO Sidney Yee. Results could also be affected by which stage the virus is at, Yee explains.
