A growing number of celebrities (see: Scarlett Johansson<\/a>, Stephen Fry<\/a>, Bill Nighy<\/a> etc.) have added their voices to the politicians in the US, EU and UK in calling on Egypt to release the members of EIPR detained last month, something CNN<\/a>\u2019s Christine Amanpour dedicated a segment to yesterday. This comes a few days after a number of articles dropped<\/a> forecasting a coming fallout between the Biden administration and Egypt over human rights.<\/p>\n
