The strategy will see the government push women\u2019s participation in the labor force, widen access to contraception, drive media campaigns and use unspecified \u201cdigitization and legislation\u201d to \u201cinfluence behaviour.\u201d<\/p>\n

SMART POLICY- <\/strong>The government is looking to increase labor force participation among women aged 18-45, with a primary focus on women in villages classified as impoverished<\/a> under President Abdel Fattah El Sisi\u2019s recent Decent Life initiative, according to El Said.<\/p>\n

This strategy comes as part of <\/strong>the wider government plan<\/a><\/strong> to better-manage population growth. The EGP 100 mn Two is Enough<\/a> initiative launched in 2018<\/a> falls under the same umbrella.
