<\/a> The National Bank of Kuwait (Egypt) is considering delisting from the EGX: <\/strong>The bank\u2019s board of directors will meet on 10 August to discuss whether to call an extraordinary general assembly meeting to weigh in on the matter, according to an EGX statement (pdf)<\/a>. This is based on a request by shareholders owning more than 94% of the bank\u2019s shares.<\/p>\n

\n

The EGX30 fell 0.5% at today\u2019s close<\/strong> on turnover of EGP 1.73 bn (30.1%<\/sup> above the 90-day average). Regional investors were net buyers. The index is down 1.4% YTD.<\/p>\n

In the green: <\/strong>GB Auto (+3.0%), Ezz Steel (+1.6%) and CI Capital (+1.6%).<\/p>\n
