Some tips:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Choose <strong>Register for Vaccination<\/strong> from the homepage.<\/li>\n<li>Choose <strong>Other Categories <\/strong>unless you\u2019re an MD or healthcare worker and if you don\u2019t have a chronic condition,.<\/li>\n<li>If at any stage you input that you have one or more health conditions (which you can still do if you choose Other Categories), <strong>you may need to <\/strong><strong>have documents on hand<\/strong> to substantiate it and be ready to upload them.<\/li>\n<li>Have a copy of your <strong>national ID or passport<\/strong> information page ready to upload. It can\u2019t be more than 5 MB and must be a .jpg or .png file.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Have your mobile at hand<\/strong> \u2014 you\u2019ll get a six-digit verification code as you complete the first screen and will need to input it.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The final screen will give you your request number<\/strong>, and you should also receive a copy of the number on by SMS. Make sure you keep it \u2014 you\u2019ll need it when you\u2019re notified that it\u2019s your turn next.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Around 20k citizens are registering on the ministry\u2019s website daily,<\/strong> according to a cabinet <a href=\"https:\/\/tinyurl.com\/y5dtcjtf\">statement<\/a>, and the total number of those registered for the vaccine looks set to hit 500k by the end of the month.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Egypt is presently vaccinating 1-2k people per day. <\/strong>We expect that rate to accelerate as the Health Ministry with the arrival of an additional 350k doses of Sinopharm\u2019s jab, which are due to arrive tomorrow, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/gate.ahram.org.eg\/News\/2634790.aspx\">state-owned Ahram Gate<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>But the short-term game changer will be the arrival of the first 5 mn doses<\/strong> of an 8.6 mn shot order of AstraZeneca by March 30, which we\u2019ve placed through the GAVI \/ Covax initiative, Health Minister Hala Zayed at the cabinet meeting.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Europe\u2019s collective freakout about the safety profile of AstraZeneca\u2019s vaccine may be <\/strong><strong>coming to an end. <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2021\/03\/17\/italy-and-france-ready-to-restart-astrazeneca-shot-after-review.html\">France, Italy<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/news\/politics\/preparations-for-astrazeneca-vaccinations-to-resume-amid-optimism-on-safety-clearance-1.4512324?_ga=2.92513885.1165494846.1615979466-1697876457.1615979466\">Ireland<\/a> all say they are ready to quickly restart their vaccination programs.
