FOR YOUR COMMUTE-<\/strong><\/p>\n If your company runs on the Microsoft Exchange Server, you want to pay attention to <\/strong>this: <\/strong>An attack on Microsoft\u2019s business email platform that began on 26 February is growing into a global cybersecurity crisis and is raising concerns among national security experts, Bloomberg<\/a> reports. Microsoft says the attack started with a Chinese government-backed hacking group called Hafnium<\/a>, which was initially trying to steal information from groups such as infectious disease researchers, law firms, higher education institutions and defence contractors.<\/p>\n Microsoft has since issued <\/strong>security updates<\/a><\/strong> to protect customers running Exchange <\/strong>Server<\/strong>, claiming there\u2019s no evidence that Hafnium targeted individual consumers or that other Microsoft products are vulnerable.<\/p>\n The attack is estimated to have impacted up to 60k global companies<\/strong>, a former senior U.S. official told Bloomberg.
