Iran was quick to deny the allegations, with Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh this morning calling the allegations baseless, the <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/middle-east-business-iran-persian-gulf-tensions-419efc522acbd213a79696c9876af6dc\">Associated Press<\/a> reports.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The US <\/strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.state.gov\/secretary-blinkens-call-with-israeli-foreign-minister-and-alternate-prime-minister-lapid\/\">has pledged<\/a><\/strong><strong> to work with Israel to investigate the incident<\/strong>, but stopped short of blaming Tehran.
