Saad Toma<\/strong> (Linkedin<\/a>) has been appointed general manager of IBM Middle East and Africa <\/strong>after working at the company for the past 30 years, according to a press release (pdf)<\/a>. He succeeds Takreem El Tohamy (LinkedIn<\/a>) who is now the company\u2019s general manager of global strategic sales.<\/p>\n

Shahat El Ghatwary<\/strong> has been officially appointed as the head of the Customs Authority<\/strong> for a one-year term, according to a decision by Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, Hapi Journal<\/a> reports. El Ghatwary was already delegated by the Finance Ministry<\/a> to fill in the position starting 1 May.
