This comes a couple of weeks after the court reduced the death penalty to life imprisonment for 31 Ikhwan leaders including Badie for their involvement in the 2013 Rabaa sit-in, while upholding death penalties for 12 Ikhwan members including Mohamed Beltagy and Safwat Hegazy.
