<\/a> New EGP 1.75 bn investment fund for K12 education:<\/strong> A group of Egyptian banks and investors have set up a new fund dedicated to investing in K12 private schools in Egypt, according to Matouk Bassiouny & Hennawy (pdf)<\/a>, which provided legal advice in the transaction. The fund, which the law firm says is being spearheaded by Egyptian private equity outfit Ironwood Investments<\/a> and investor Hossam Kabbani, will channel EGP 1.75 bn into Egyptian schools.<\/p>\n

Who\u2019s involved?<\/strong> The Sovereign Fund of Egypt, Misr Ins. Holding, Banque Misr, Ironwood, Kabbani, and other unspecified investors are all partnering in the fund, MBH said.<\/p>\n
