Jordanian startup <\/strong>Edunation<\/a><\/strong> is looking to expand into Egypt after raising USD 3 mn in a funding round led by <\/strong>US-based VC investor Rubix<\/strong>, the company said in a press release (pdf)<\/a>. The startup will also use the money to expand into Oman and Bahrain and bolster its presence in Jordan, Palestine, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and the UAE, the statement said. Edunation also eyes upgrading its online learning management platform and aims to grow its data-science division.<\/p>\n

About Edunation: <\/strong>Established in 2013, Edunation is a provider of online and distance learning solutions for pre-school through higher education. It has seen its users surge 1200% since last year amid covid lockdown measures.
