<\/a> Ahmed Dallal named new AUC president:<\/strong> Ahmed Dallal (LinkedIn<\/a>) has been appointed president of the American University in Cairo, succeeding Francis Ricciardone<\/a> who will step down at the end of the current academic year this month, the uni announced in a statement (pdf)<\/a> yesterday.
