Uber has appointed Saad Pall (<\/strong>LinkedIn<\/a><\/strong>) as the new general manager for the <\/strong>Middle East, North Africa and Pakistan <\/strong>succeeding Abdellatif \u201cTino\u201d Waked, the ride-hailing company said in a statement (<\/a>pdf<\/a><\/sup>)<\/a>. The position, based in the company\u2019s Dubai headquarters, covers Uber\u2019s operations in 36 cities across eight regional countries. Pall has 15 years of strategy and marketing experience working in the US, Singapore and Pakistan, and served as Uber's general manager in Pakistan for two years.
