Subscription to the fund, dubbed \u201cMisr Life Ins. Investment Fund,\u201d will be through Misr Capital and Misr Capital Fixed Income Brokerage. Misr Capital <a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/egypt\/en\/news\/story\/d5aae13a-dcca-4201-b3c3-0f924b42b208\">launched a similar type of fund<\/a> in partnership with Sarwa Life Ins. earlier this year.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The first direct flight from St. Petersburg to Cairo since 2018 <\/strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/3ujDZzd\">landed<\/a><\/strong> at Cairo International Airport last night. The flight was operated by Russian carrier Nordwind airlines, with more legs expected to be added in the near future. The re-introduction of this flight route comes ahead of the anticipated <a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/egypt\/en\/news\/story\/c519a123-45d0-4854-bea1-74e7059dfcfd\">resumption of direct flights<\/a> from Russia to Egypt\u2019s Red Sea destinations starting June.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Other things we\u2019re keeping an eye on this morning:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The <strong>Senate <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/3egUvdR\">has approved<\/a> legislative amendments <strong>regulating the Engineering <\/strong><strong>Syndicate\u2019s elections and general assembly<\/strong>, which will now be shipped to the House for discussion.<\/li>\n<li>Hydrocarbon exploration company <strong>APA\u2019s Western Desert assets<\/strong> will be consolidated into a single new concession comprising 90% of its production volumes in Egypt under an <a href=\"https:\/\/finance.yahoo.com\/news\/apa-corporation-announces-agreement-principle-125000014.html\">agreement<\/a> between the company and the Oil Ministry.<\/li>\n<li>Some <strong>22 mn properties have been <\/strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/english.ahram.org.eg\/NewsContent\/3\/12\/410505\/Business\/Economy\/-mln-properties-have-been-registered-online-in-Egy.aspx\">registered<\/a><\/strong> on the government\u2019s newly launched online property database since January as part of a push to <a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.press\/stories\/2019\/09\/23\/egypt-is-setting-up-a-digital-log-of-real-estate-asset-sales-to-collect-its-2-5-levy\/\">minimize property tax evasion<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Misr Life Ins.
