The Grand Ethiopian Renaissance (GERD) issue isn\u2019t going anywhere anytime soon:<\/strong>. Kelma Akhira's Lameed El Hadidi and Ala Mas\u2019ouleety\u2019s Ahmed Moussa focused on the GERD, which again dominated proceedings following Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov\u2019s visit to Cairo yesterday for talks with Sameh Shoukry (watch, runtime: 2:11<\/a> | 3:42<\/a>). Shoukry noted during a press conference following the meeting that both countries will coordinate to reach an agreement over the dam that fulfills the interests of the three countries in a bid to avoid any pitfalls of unilateral action by Ethiopia.<\/p>\n

Ethiopia signalling war? <\/strong>Moussa read and analyzed a recent blog post<\/a> published by the Ethiopian Foreign Ministry, which he described as a \u201cdeclaration of war.\u201d The article, which mentions the phrase \u201cyou don\u2019t die of fear rather you die while fighting\u201d and says that Ethiopia has \u201call options on the table\u201d is the \u201cmost dangerous\u201d statement since initiating the GERD talks 10 years ago, Moussa said (watch, runtime 14:32<\/a>).<\/p>\n
