More shipments will be exported from the Damietta and Idku liquefaction plants, sources added.Shipments began making their way out of the Damietta <a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/egypt\/en\/news\/story\/3613f080-5d75-4b85-af31-1b66fcda3204\">in February<\/a> after the planet was brought back online after an eight-year hiatus. This comes after a dire year for Egypt\u2019s LNG exports: Egypt completed <a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/egypt\/en\/news\/story\/61d78876-de6b-4cf9-a236-cb39e6b3c443\">only a few LNG shipments<\/a> in 2020 after the onset of the pandemic in March as global gas prices hit record lows.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Other things we\u2019re keeping an eye on this morning:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Faragalla Group<\/strong> plans to <a href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/3sUk1KE\">establish factories<\/a> in <strong>Sudan and Rwanda<\/strong> this year and to expand its product distribution points in Africa and the GCC.<\/li>\n<li>The Trade Ministry has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/mift.media\/photos\/a.422829607785846\/3829896663745773\/\">extended<\/a> for three months its <a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/egypt\/en\/news\/story\/4140af4f-e5aa-4842-9ab6-c9e64ab097ca\">ban on<\/a><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/egypt\/en\/news\/story\/4140af4f-e5aa-4842-9ab6-c9e64ab097ca\">exports of beans<\/a><\/strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/egypt\/en\/news\/story\/4140af4f-e5aa-4842-9ab6-c9e64ab097ca\">and legumes<\/a><\/strong> to ensure supply in the lead up to Ramadan.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Al Ahly Sabbour Development<\/strong> has <a href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/2QV7B75\">partnered<\/a> with Abu Dhabi-based <strong>Reportage Properties<\/strong> for a real estate development in East Cairo's Mostakbal City.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Some 25 shipments of liquefied natural gas were exported via Egypt\u2019s Idku LNG terminal in the first three months of 2021, sources told Youm7.
