We have chapter and verse in the news well, below.<\/p>\n<p><strong>THE BIG STORY INTERNATIONALLY?<\/strong> There\u2019s no single piece of news driving the conversation abroad, but the S&P 500 logging its best day since June yesterday is getting ink from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/global-stock-markets-dow-update-03-01-2021-11614588580?mod=hp_lead_pos2\">Wall Street Journal<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/article\/us-usa-stocks\/sp-500-surges-in-strongest-one-day-rise-since-june-idUSKCN2AT25U\">Reuters<\/a>, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ft.com\/content\/0c1ed929-28f0-4132-bfdb-92200d192c87\">Financial Times<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"content-anchor\" id=\"tldr-story-07\"><\/a> <strong>*** CATCH UP QUICK<\/strong> with the biggest stories from yesterday\u2019s edition of EnterprisePM:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Jumia is <\/strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/3kz6SDz\">planning to expand<\/a><\/strong><strong> its food delivery service in Egypt<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Major tech companies <\/strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/3rbIQkn\">have handed<\/a><\/strong><strong> the ICT Ministry a list of proposals for the executive regulations<\/strong> of the recently-ratified Data Protection Act;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Emerging market assets <\/strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/egypt\/en\/news\/story\/15dfd0a7-91a0-44c1-8303-adefafb2d22b\">took a hit<\/a><\/strong> toward the end of February.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Dubai suffers worst expat exodus in GCC: <\/strong>The emirate\u2019s population \u2014 more than 90% of which is foreign workers \u2014 dropped by 8.4% last year as covid-19 induced economic upheaval forced expats to leave the country, S&P Global Ratings <a href=\"https:\/\/www.spglobal.com\/_assets\/documents\/ratings\/research\/100049273.pdf\">said yesterday (pdf)<\/a>. This is a more dramatic shift than the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.spglobal.com\/ratings\/en\/research\/articles\/210215-expat-exodus-adds-to-gulf-region-s-economic-diversification-challenges-11800970\">average 4% population decrease<\/a> experienced in the Gulf.
