Auto sales had a better start to the year than they did in 2020:<\/strong> Passenger car sales soared 71% y-o-y in January, with nearly 14.9k vehicles sold during the first month of the year, according to figures<\/a> from the Automotive Information Council (AMIC). Bus + truck sales had mixed results:<\/strong> Truck sales rose 48% y-o-y to 3.7k, from 2.5k in the same month in 2020. This is a steep fall from 4.5k trucks sold in December 2020.
