I look forward to growing our partnership.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>ALSO IN THE INDUSTRY-<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Rameda is eyeing investments worth EGP 50-60 mn this year<\/strong> to develop its production lines, raise its production capacity, and upgrade its labs and water stations, CEO Amr Morsy told <a href=\"https:\/\/alborsaanews.com\/2021\/02\/21\/1419893\">the local press<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>New products on the horizon:<\/strong> The company also plans to launch 8-10 new meds this year in a bid to expand its exports into Asia, Africa, and the Middle East, he noted, adding that the new offerings include covid-19 treatments, and meds for nausea and increasing blood flow to the brain. Last year, the company rolled out nine new products and acquired another three including the <a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/egypt\/en\/news\/story\/a4ac33dd-72bc-41cd-9095-a5be5aedfd94\">generic anti-inflammatory molecule<\/a> last April.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Growth projections:<\/strong> Rameda is aiming for sales growth that outperforms the market by 5-10% this year, Morsy said, adding that the company saw a 20% rise in private retail sales last year.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The news comes <\/strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/egypt\/en\/news\/story\/ff646872-fe4d-42cb-9c86-ab3420e60774\">after GSK brushed aside Rameda\u2019s bid<\/a><\/strong> and another from Acdima as it sets out to sell its Egypt arm to Hikma.<\/p>\n<p><em>Correction: 22 February 2021.
