In 2019 Egypt <a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.press\/stories\/2019\/08\/06\/egypt-signs-usd-4-5-bn-agreement-for-monorails-to-giza-and-new-capital\/\">awarded<\/a> Bombardier \u2014 along with Orascom Construction and Arab Contractors \u2014 a 30-year contract to design, build, supply and operate the monorail lines, which will connect Sixth of October City to Giza and the new administrative capital to Nasr City.
