The Madbouly Cabinet signed off yesterday on a campaign to promote domestic <\/strong>winter tourism<\/strong> that will see national flag carrier EgyptAir slashing its airfare on domestic flights and hotels across a handful of tourist destinations also marking down their prices, according to a statement<\/a>. The campaign will run from 15 January until 28 February in a bid to boost revenues for the tourism industry after tourism receipts last year fell to a third of their 2019 levels<\/a> on the back of tourist arrivals tumbling 70% y-o-y because of the pandemic.<\/p>\n
