<\/a> The Finance Ministry lifted administrative seizure orders from more than 3k companies between April 2020 and July 2021 <\/strong>under an initiative that allows relief when companies that have fallen behind on taxes to cough up 1-10% of what they owe in overdue income and value-added taxes, according to a statement<\/a> by Finance Minister Mohamed Maait yesterday. Maait has offered a series of concessions that aim to speed up the resolution of tax disputes \u2014 and that recognize many businesses are still struggling with the impact of covid-19.
