We were already told to expect two or three companies to IPO <a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/egypt\/en\/news\/story\/eb7a605f-1344-4470-9dad-78f4cb493d20\">before the end of 2021<\/a>, with <a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/egypt\/en\/news\/story\/172bb5a9-c959-409e-9e3c-1d190d7fd256\">state-owned E-Finance<\/a> saying it plans to offer 14.5% of its shares to the market in 4Q2021.<\/p>\n<p><strong>#2- Could Islamic Cairo host the region\u2019s first comprehensive \u201cinnovation zone\u201d?<\/strong> Rachid Mohmaed Rachid\u2019s Bidayat will study the possibility of developing the historic Bab Al Azab area in the vicinity of the Cairo Citadel into an innovation zone that will support SMEs in the fields of architecture, furniture, jewelry, and other design, under the terms of an MoU signed with the Sovereign Fund of Egypt, Rachid told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.asharqbusiness.com\/article\/25468\/%D8%A8%D8%AF%D8%A7%D9%8A%D8%A7%D8%AA-%D8%AA%D9%88%D9%82%D8%B9-%D8%B9%D9%82%D8%AF%D8%A7%D9%8B-%D9%85%D8%B9-%D8%B5%D9%86%D8%AF%D9%88%D9%82-%D9%85%D8%B5%D8%B1-%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B3%D9%8A%D8%A7%D8%AF%D9%8A-%D9%84%D8%AA%D8%B7%D9%88%D9%8A%D8%B1-%D9%85%D9%86%D8%B7%D9%82%D8%A9-%D8%A8%D8%A7%D8%A8-%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B9%D8%B2%D8%A8-%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%AA%D8%A7%D8%B1%D9%8A%D8%AE%D9%8A%D8%A9\">Bloomberg Alsharq<\/a>. The company\u2019s shares dropped 10.2% to HKD 2.28 on top of an earlier 19% drop, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/world\/china\/china-evergrande-shares-plummet-default-risks-2021-09-20\/\">Reuters<\/a>, reports. Stocks in the US also fell, with indexes recording their worst day of trading in weeks, as investors increasingly expect Beijing to <a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/egypt\/en\/news\/story\/95f81c5d-8892-48fe-9bfb-64c4d4e1a4a5\">allow Evergrande to default<\/a>, inflicting losses on shareholders, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/stock-futures-european-and-asian-indexes-fall-sharply-11632123909?mod=hp_lead_pos1\">Wall Street Journal<\/a> reports.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The company is <\/strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/egypt\/en\/news\/story\/fdb867b2-feec-4aa1-9176-6b593046cf44\">currently sitting<\/a><\/strong><strong> on more than USD 300 bn in debt <\/strong>\u2014 with USD 7.4 bn in bonds due next year, making it quite possibly the world\u2019s most indebted company. Spillover risks had China sovereign credit default swaps rise to a near one-year high, while the cost of insuring against European corporate bond defaults rose to a three-month high, Reuters <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/business\/global-markets-wrapup-5-2021-09-20\/\">reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>As of dispatch time, the US market was also experiencing major declines<\/strong>, with futures <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/pre-markets\/\">recording their worst results<\/a> in weeks. Futures for the S&P 500 dropped 1.4% and futures on the Dow Jones Industrial Average declined 1.6%.<\/p>\n<p><a id=\"tldr-story-03\" class=\"content-anchor\"><\/a> <strong>ADQ\u2019s Xmas party will certainly be a full house: <\/strong>Abu Dhabi\u2019s sovereign wealth fund (ADQ) has been ratcheting up its hiring of investment bankers from Western banks over the past year, raising their staff to 120 from 20 last year, sources close to the matter tell <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/world\/middle-east\/abu-dhabis-state-holding-firm-adq-hires-more-bankers-it-steps-up-dealmaking-2021-09-19\/?utm_campaign=trueAnthem%3A%20Trending%20Content&utm_medium=trueAnthem&utm_source=facebook&fbclid=IwAR2rSqEbnRNy1fxLbsSCyWv9fn3nwGfaaxX_a9gueFRTQ4b86pZN2hLEsZM\">Reuters<\/a>. ADQ\u2019s food subsidiary Agthia recently finalized its acquisition of 75% of Atyab brand owner Ismailia Agricultural and Industrial Investments.<\/p>\n<p><strong>HAPPENING NOW- <\/strong><strong>Thousands have been evacuated in Spain\u2019s Canary Islands after a volcano eruption <\/strong><strong>yesterday<\/strong> caused widespread damage, though no fatalities, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/world\/europe\/people-evacuated-spanish-island-la-palma-after-volcano-eruption-warning-2021-09-19\/\">Reuters<\/a> reports.
