The company is looking to spin-off its Khales subsidiary ahead of a potential offering on the bourse, Sarhan reportedly said. Khales itself will split into e-Retail and e-Hub. We are reaching out to e-finance for further details and confirmation on what was said.<\/p>\n<p><strong>#2- <\/strong><strong>Telecom Egypt signed an agreement to obtain a USD 500 mn medium-term syndicated loan<\/strong>, to finance expenses and convert short-term USD overdrafts into longer-term loans, the company said in a <a href=\"https:\/\/ent.news\/2021\/10\/Corporate_News11ce97e7-37de-4afc-9783-d6f1efaa094a.pdf\">statement (pdf)<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>#3- In tomorrow\u2019s Blackboard: <\/strong>The World Bank wants nations across the world to revamp their post-secondary education systems. We look at their recommendations and analyse how far Egypt has come towards those targets.<\/p>\n<p><strong>^^We\u2019ll have more on these stories <\/strong>and others in tomorrow\u2019s <strong>EnterpriseAM<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>** CATCH UP QUICK<\/strong> on the top stories from today\u2019s <strong>EnterpriseAM<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>CBE to hold rates this week:<\/strong> With an eye on rising inflation, the Central Bank of Egypt is expected to keep interest rates on hold when it meets this Thursday, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/egypt\/en\/news\/story\/2271d9e1-cc44-40f7-bed0-32614101fbb4\">our regular poll<\/a> of economists and analysts. <\/li>\n<li><strong>e-Finance shares went pop:<\/strong> Shares in state-owned fintech platform and payment infrastructure provider e-Finance <a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/egypt\/en\/news\/story\/23beb734-9f6f-4c55-9143-7c6935ecf804\">jumped 50%<\/a> in their trading debut on the EGX last Wednesday, in what was Egypt\u2019s biggest IPO since 2015. <\/li>\n<li><strong>Analysts see GDP growing, but with an \u201cuneven\u201d recovery:<\/strong> Growth of the Egyptian economy will continue to accelerate in FY2021-2022, expanding at a 5.1% clip before climbing to 5.5% in the following two years, a <a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/egypt\/en\/news\/story\/1b0c6a20-69cb-4235-889c-6676c8c707b9\">Reuters poll showed<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr class=\"grey-line\">\n<p><a class=\"content-anchor\" id=\"tldr-story-02\"><\/a> <strong>HAPPENING NOW- Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly is in Paris <\/strong>to sign an agreement with the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), according to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/EgyptianCabinet\/posts\/256349216535506\">cabinet statement<\/a>. The agreement will set the cooperation framework between Egypt and the OECD. This is separate from the landmark OECD international tax agreement, which Egypt signed up for <a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/egypt\/en\/news\/story\/dc4ed721-9425-47c7-a393-935435f14652\">back in July<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Madbouly is also expected to hold talks<\/strong> with French government officials, French companies interested in investing in Egypt, along with the heads of a number of banks and investment funds, the statement reads.<\/p>\n<p><strong>EU Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Oliver Varhelyi is in town today <\/strong><strong>for Cairo Water Week<\/strong>, and is expected to address climate and environmental issues and hold talks with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi<sup><\/sup> and Water Minister Mohamed Abdel Aty, according to a <a href=\"https:\/\/ent.news\/2021\/10\/Comm-Varhelyis-visit-PRL-ENG.pdf\">press statement (pdf)<\/a>. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cairowaterweek.eg\/\">Cairo Water Week<\/a><\/strong><strong> kicked off today<\/strong> and will wrap this Thursday, 28 October.<\/p>\n<p><strong>It\u2019s the final day of <\/strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lemarcheexpo.com\/\">Le March\u00e9<\/a><\/strong>, the Cairo Furniture Show, the MENA region\u2019s largest furniture, material and home accessories exhibition.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A high-level delegation of the UN\u2019s International Fund for Agricultural Development<\/strong> <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ifad.org\/en\/web\/latest\/-\/high-level-un-delegation-to-visit-egypt?utm_source=miragenews&utm_medium=miragenews&utm_campaign=news\">arrived in town<\/a><\/strong><strong> yesterday<\/strong> to meet with government officials and visit projects. Halyna Hutchins was killed, while director Joel Souza, who was standing behind her, was wounded. The Hollywood actor was handed a gun to be used as a prop, but it turned out it contained a \u201clive single round,\u201d according to an email sent by International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees, <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2021\/film\/news\/alec-baldwin-halyna-hutchins-shooting-film-rust-live-round-1235095349\/\">Variety<\/a> reports.
