6 October: <\/strong>To mark Armed Forces day, a number of regional papers are giving President Anwar El Sadat his due credit on the diplomatic and economic front, including this oped from Arab News<\/a> that explored how Sadat put in motion the liberalization of Egypt\u2019s economy and reoriented foreign relations from East to West.<\/p>\n

Infrastructure was another big theme, <\/strong>with Al-Monitor<\/a> shining a light on the Bahr El Baqar wastewater treatment plant \u2014 the world\u2019s largest agricultural wastewater plant \u2014 and how it is expected to help cultivate reclaimed land in North Sinai and support the government\u2019s development ambitions in the region.
