The Health Ministry has a new spokesperson:<\/strong> Interim health minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar<\/sup> has brought his spokesperson with him from the Higher Education Ministry, appointing Hossam Abdel Ghaffar in a decision yesterday carried by Ahram Gate<\/a>. Abdel Ghaffar replaces Khaled Megahed, who has served as the ministry\u2019s spokesperson for six years.<\/p>\n

This is the second high-profile change at the ministry in recent weeks<\/strong> after Hala Zayed was replaced by Abdel Ghaffar as health minister for unknown reasons. The ministerial change came amid unconfirmed reports of a corruption investigation<\/a> at the ministry and media reports that Zayed had been hospitalized.<\/p>\n

Marc Charabati<\/strong> (LinkedIn<\/a>) has been tapped as Schneider Electric<\/strong>\u2019s new vice <\/strong>president of services for North East Africa and the Levant<\/strong>, according to a statement (pdf)<\/a>. Charabati was previously Schneider\u2019s general manager for Levant countries.<\/p>\n
