Under the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unepfi.org\/banking\/bankingprinciples\/commitments\/commitment-to-financial-health-and-inclusion\/\">Commitment to Financial Health and Inclusion<\/a>, CIB will set targets \u201cthat make a substantial contribution to the financial health and inclusion of societies,\u201d reporting back on its progress within 18 months. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unepfi.org\/news\/industries\/banking\/principles-for-responsible-banking-build-new-pathway-for-banks-to-collectively-accelerate-action-on-universal-financial-inclusion-and-health\/\">Launched at the start of December<\/a>, the commitment comes under the Principles for Responsible Banking, a framework launched by the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative, where member banks make pledges to take climate action. Egypt\u2019s largest private bank is so far the only institution in MENA to sign on to the pledge.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Other things we\u2019re keeping an eye on this morning:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/alborsaanews.com\/2021\/12\/20\/1492507\">Regulations<\/a><\/strong> for installing <strong>EV charging stations <\/strong>\u2014 developed in partnership with the EU \u2014 will be published in <strong>January<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Spain <\/strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/ppo.gov.eg\/posts\/447734443382084\">returned<\/a><\/strong><strong> 36 ancient Egyptian artefacts<\/strong>, which include figurines of ancient gods and goddesses Egyptian officials.
