<\/a> Industrial development strategy to launch within three months? <\/strong>The Madbouly government wants to work with the private sector to establish an industrial development strategy within three months, Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly said during today\u2019s session on the state ownership policy document at the government\u2019s economic conference. The strategy would cover the next decade, he said, without disclosing further details.<\/p>\n

THE BIG STORY ABROAD<\/strong><\/p>\n

Picking up where we left off this morning, former UK Chancellor Rishi Sunak\u2019s lead in the<\/strong> race to become the UK\u2019s next prime minister<\/strong> is still leading the conversation in the international business press. Sunak\u2019s lead is doing good things for markets, with the GBP rising earlier today and government bonds also staging a rally. The story is on the front pages of the Financial Times<\/a>, the Wall Street Journal<\/a>, Reuters<\/a>, and CNBC<\/a>.<\/p>\n

HAPPENING NOW-<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) launched its <\/strong>promotional campaigns to<\/strong> drum up investment in the zone this morning<\/strong> ahead of COP27<\/strong>, according to a cabinet statement<\/a>. The campaigns are designed to highlight how the zone differs from other economic zones, as well as its efforts to localize the green energy industry, the statement says. The domestic campaign\u2019s slogan is \u201cAn Integrated Path \u2014 One Destination\u201d while the international campaign\u2019s slogan is \u201cGreen Energy Destination.\u201d<\/p>\n
