Hilton<\/strong> has appointed Ahmed El Hady <\/strong>(LinkedIn<\/a>) as its new country ma<\/strong>nager and <\/strong>senior director of operations for Egypt<\/strong>, it said in a<\/a><\/a>statemen<\/a>t<\/a>(pd<\/a>f)<\/a>. El Hady has almost 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry and joins Hilton after a five-year stint as the general manager of Doha-based hotel investment firm Al Rayyan Tourism Investment. He will now be responsible for leading Hilton Egypt\u2019s operational strategy, which will see a number of brands such as the Waldorf Astoria entering Egypt for the first time.<\/p>\n

Payment facilitator CowPay<\/a><\/strong> has appointed Mohamed Abu Khadra <\/strong>(LinkedIn<\/a>) as its CEO<\/strong>, succeeding Hussain Al Manawi, who joined the company\u2019s board, Zawya<\/a> reports. Abu Khadra joins the firm from Huawei where he served as a marketing director.
