The <a href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/3xNDZeo\">national weather service<\/a> tells us that Friday was the autumnal equinox, meaning we\u2019re in for about 89 days of the pumpkin spice season.<\/p>\n<p><strong>We have a big issue for you this morning<\/strong>, but before we get started:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Today is also our birthday. <\/strong>Enterprise turns eight this morning. We sent the very first (public facing) version of Enterprise to 50 people (<a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.press\/issues\/2014\/09\/25\/enterprise-issue-1\/\">you can see it here<\/a> \u2014 feel free to chuckle, but you can see traces of our DNA in there). Our August 2022 readership figures show that there are now 215k of you out there who choose to regularly start your mornings with us, whether on email or the interwebs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What were we writing about eight years ago this morning?
