Korea\u2019s CGN was reportedly being considered to manage the dry port back <a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/egypt\/en\/news\/story\/f86d5756-19ea-4647-b012-08d82d269b22\">in 2020<\/a>, though we\u2019ve heard nothing on the project\u2019s progress since.<\/p>\n<p>EFG Hermes\u2019 <strong>valU<\/strong> and <strong>PayTabs Egypt<\/strong> are working with chatbot startup <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.notchnco.com\/\">Notchnco<\/a><\/strong> to build out WhatsApp shopping services on valU, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/ent.news\/2022\/9\/valU-x-PayTabs-x-Notchnco-English.docx.pdf\">a statement<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/ent.news\/2022\/9\/valU-x-PayTabs-x-Notchnco-English.docx.pdf\">(pdf)<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Our friends at Infinity and <\/strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hassanallam.com\/media-centre\/News\/details\/Developing-a-New-5-MW-solar-PV-power-plant-in-Sharm-El-Sheikh\">Hassan Allam Utilities<\/a><\/strong> as well as <strong>Intro Energy<\/strong> will inaugurate three solar plants with a combined generation capacity of 15 MW by the end of October in <strong>Sharm El Sheikh<\/strong>, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/alborsaanews.com\/2022\/09\/04\/1573821\">Al Borsa<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has asked the government to reconsider indicative <\/strong><strong>supply prices ahead of the harvest season<\/strong> and look into adding financial incentives to the procurement prices, a <a href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/3cKDnz9\">statement<\/a>by Ittihadiya read. The directives come under the state\u2019s plan to support local farmers, it said.<\/p>\n<p><strong>REMEMBER- <\/strong>The government <a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/egypt\/en\/news\/story\/fef0998d-6737-4708-a4ed-777c791ea946\">said last week<\/a> it will pay farmers an indicative price of EGP 1k per ardeb of wheat next season, a hike of nearly 15% from the EGP 865-885 per ardeb it paid this year.
