Huawei <\/strong>has appointed Jim Liu<\/strong> as CEO of Huawei Egypt<\/strong>, succeeding Vincent Sun<\/strong>, the company said in a statement<\/a>(pdf)<\/a>. Liu has been with the Chinese tech firm since 2005 and was previously CEO of its Congo office.<\/p>\n

The Transport Ministry<\/strong> has appointed Mohamed Abdel Aziz Amer<\/strong> as the new chairman <\/strong>of Egyptian National Railways (ENR)<\/strong>, who will replace Moustafa Abu El Makarem<\/strong>, who is stepping aside due to health considerations, according to a ministry statement<\/a>. Amer previously served as the vice chairman of ENR\u2019s board for the mobile units\u2019 maintenance and technical support sector.<\/p>\n
