Edita Food Industries has started operations at its new <\/strong>EGP 135 mn production<\/a><\/strong>line<\/a><\/strong>, which is set to increase Edita\u2019s production of baked goods by 20% (11 mn tons) a year, the company said in an EGX disclosure (pdf)<\/a> yesterday. This marks the company\u2019s eighth production line for its baked goods segment and comes amid rising demand for its Molto range. The company had pledged some EGP 400 mn<\/a> this year in investments for production expansion in Egypt and Morocco.<\/p>\n
