Check out the full list <a href=\"https:\/\/www.globalbankingandfinance.com\/global-banking-finance-awards-2022-award-winners\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Five Egyptian fintech companies have been featured on <\/strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbesmiddleeast.com\/lists\/the-middle-easts-top-25-fintech-companies-2022\/\">Forbes\u2019 top 25 fintech<\/a><\/strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbesmiddleeast.com\/lists\/the-middle-easts-top-25-fintech-companies-2022\/\"><\/a><\/strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbesmiddleeast.com\/lists\/the-middle-easts-top-25-fintech-companies-2022\/\">companies for 2022<\/a><\/strong><strong>:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Financial services provider <\/strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbesmiddleeast.com\/lists\/the-middle-easts-top-25-fintech-companies-2022\/aman-holding\/\">Aman<\/a><\/strong><strong>: <\/strong>Founded in 2015 by Mohamed Wahby (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/mohamed-wahby\/?originalSubdomain=eg\">LinkedIn<\/a>) and Hazem Moghazi (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/hazem-moghazi-5445ba17\/?originalSubdomain=eg\">LinkedIn<\/a>), the company is Raya Holding\u2019s non-banking financial services outfit.<\/li>\n<li><strong>E-payment platform <\/strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbesmiddleeast.com\/lists\/the-middle-easts-top-25-fintech-companies-2022\/fawry-for-banking-and-payment-technology-services\/\">Fawry<\/a><\/strong>, which was founded in 2008 by Ashraf Sabry (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/ashraf-sabry-561595b\/?originalSubdomain=eg\">LinkedIn<\/a>). Abu Dhabi sovereign wealth fund ADQ <a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/egypt\/en\/news\/story\/b4a11664-2159-45ba-ba2f-bf0d3dfd3978\">purchased an 11.8% stake<\/a> in the company in April.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Super app <\/strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbesmiddleeast.com\/lists\/the-middle-easts-top-25-fintech-companies-2022\/mnt-halan\/\">MNT-Halan<\/a><\/strong>, which was set up in 2018 by Mounir Nakhla and Ahmed Mohsen (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/ahmed-mohsen-93781b25\/?originalSubdomain=eg\">LinkedIn<\/a>). It is the product of Netherlands-based payments company MNT <a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/egypt\/en\/news\/story\/6c013289-a9f9-431d-9181-487b26e392e7\">entering into a share swap agreement<\/a> with Egyptian fintech \/ delivery \/ ride-hailing company Halan.<\/li>\n<li><strong>E-payment platform <\/strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbesmiddleeast.com\/lists\/the-middle-easts-top-25-fintech-companies-2022\/paymob\/\">Paymob<\/a><\/strong>, which was founded in 2015 by Islam Shawky, Alain El Hajj (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/alainelhajj\/\">LinkedIn<\/a>) and Mostafa Menessy (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/mostafa-menessy-a53458b1\/\">LinkedIn<\/a>). The company is responsible for Egypt\u2019s largest funding round so far this year, <a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/egypt\/en\/news\/story\/08438889-d1a6-4753-9417-acba84ec6fa4\">raising USD 50 mn<\/a> in a series B round in May.<\/li>\n<li><strong>BNPL platform <\/strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbesmiddleeast.com\/lists\/the-middle-easts-top-25-fintech-companies-2022\/valu\/\">valU<\/a><\/strong><strong>: <\/strong>The EFG Hermes consumer finance subsidiary was founded in 2017 by Walid Hassouna (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/walid-hassouna-a7984965\/\">LinkedIn<\/a>).
