<\/a> Pioneers Properties for Urban Development has closed a EGP 425 mn securitized <\/strong>bond issuance<\/strong>, the second in a wider EGP 3 bn program, according to a press release (pdf)<\/a> from its financial advisor, EFG Hermes. The four-tranche issuance is backed by a EGP 613.5 mn receivables portfolio, with the tranches rated AA+, AA, and A and by ratings agency MERIS.<\/p>\n

Who bought in? <\/strong>Banque du Caire (BdC), the National Bank of Egypt (NBE) and CIB.<\/p>\n

Pioneers has now completed a third of the program.<\/strong> The real estate developer completed the first EGP 627.5 mn issuance<\/a> in December.<\/p>\n

Advisors: <\/strong>EFG Hermes acted as the sole financial advisor, sole transaction manager and bookrunner, underwriter, and arranger on the issuance. NBE, BdC, and CIB acted as underwriters, with CIB also acting as the custodian bank. Baker McKenzie provided counsel, while KPMG was the auditor.<\/p>\n
