Nawy recently <a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.news\/egypt\/en\/news\/story\/ccc3ac47-20f2-49dd-9332-b6c7aaf2d9f7\">received an undisclosed amount<\/a> of bridge funding in a round led by the Sawiris family office.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Egypt, France and Malta\u2019s sovereign wealth funds have established a <\/strong><strong>\u201ccollaboration network\u201d <\/strong>across the Europe, Middle East and North Africa (EMENA) region, according to a <a href=\"https:\/\/ent.news\/2022\/3\/EMENA_Malta_Press-Release_English_31Mar2022.pdf\">press release (pdf)<\/a>. The Malta-based EMENA Sovereign Wealth Funds Collaborative Network aims to support investments in green technology, sustainable development, SMEs and innovation to help plug the USD 700-900 bn funding gap in the EMENA area.
