Magued Osman<\/strong> has been reappointed as chairman of Telecom Egypt<\/strong> for a third <\/strong>term<\/strong>, according to an EGX disclosure (pdf)<\/a> filed Thursday following an extraordinary general meeting. Company rules had prevented people from serving more than two three-year terms, but shareholders agreed to amend the rules during the meeting, allowing chairpeople to serve more than two terms if approved by the communications minister. Adel Hamad<\/strong> will also serve a second term as the company\u2019s CEO and managing director after being reappointed during the meeting.<\/p>\n

EFG Hermes-led <\/strong>Vortex Energy<\/a><\/strong> has appointed Ana Peris Caminero<\/strong> (Linkedin<\/a>) as chief operating officer<\/strong> and a member of the investment committee, according to a press release (pdf)<\/a>. Caminero was most recently director of renewable business development at Spain\u2019s Naturgy.
